Terms and Conditions

By accessing and using the services provided by Auto Solutionz, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

  • Auto Solutionz is a mobile vehicle maintenance, repair, and diagnostic service based in Hobart, Tasmania.
  • Our services are offered primarily on-site at your location. We also provide an option for customers to drop off their vehicles at our secure off-road location.
  • We serve the Hobart area and nearby suburbs.

We offer a wide range of services including, but not limited to:

  • Vehicle diagnostics
  • Oil changes and filter replacements
  • Brake system checks
  • Engine and electrical system diagnostics
  • Accessory installations
  • Vehicle inspections (Pre-Purchase & Post-Stage)
  • Comprehensive vehicle maintenance and repairs

  • Pricing for services will be provided before the work begins. Any changes to the estimated price will be communicated to the customer.
  • Weekend services are offered without any extra charge.
  • All prices are exclusive of GST, unless otherwise stated.

  • For onsite services, an extra charge will apply.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring a safe and secure location for us to perform services off-road safely. If the customer is unable to provide a safe work environment, we reserve the right to deny the service, but charges will still apply.

  • A minimum deposit of $100 or 50% of the quoted parts price is required when booking. Part quotations include GST, but GST will be applied to labour.
  • For accessory installations, please be mindful that we do not keep all types of accessories in stock. Since every vehicle may require different fittings, a deposit is required before confirmation of booking. Once the part arrives, we will contact you to schedule the service at your convenience.

  • Auto Solutionz has a once-a-week delivery cycle for quoted parts, meaning parts are delivered once a week.
  • Once the order is placed, it will take 7 to 10 business days for the part to arrive.
  • Once we receive the part, we will contact you to schedule the service.

  • The deposit must be paid before confirming the booking.
  • The remaining balance will be charged on the day of the service.
  • If the customer refuses to pay the remaining amount, no deposit will be refunded, and Auto Solutionz reserves the right to take back the item.

  • We provide a 28-day standard warranty on services or the standard manufacturer warranty (which could be 6 months or 12 months, depending on the manufacturer).
  • Auto Solutionz is not responsible for any existing damage caused by the customer.
  • If you're not happy with the service, labour/installation charges will apply to remove the installed part.
  • If we are unable to provide the quoted part, we will offer a 100% refund.
  • Change of mind is not accepted, so please ensure you are satisfied with the part and service before confirming your booking.

  • For warranty replacements, customers are required to provide video proof as per the manufacturer's standard process.
  • The manufacturer requires video evidence before providing a replacement product.
  • Once we receive the video evidence, we will submit a claim to the manufacturer. If the claim is approved, we will provide you with a replacement.
  • If necessary, we may also provide a replacement under the customer's goodwill.
  • Please be mindful that a claim needs to be submitted before any warranty replacement can be processed.

  • While we take great care to ensure high-quality service, Auto Solutionz will not be held liable for any damages caused due to the vehicle's pre-existing condition, unforeseen faults, or defects not identified before the service.
  • Auto Solutionz is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings inside the vehicle.

  • It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the vehicle is accessible and ready for the service at the scheduled time.
  • If your vehicle is being dropped off at our secure location, please ensure it is in a safe, operable condition.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that their vehicle is legally compliant (e.g., with respect to insurance and registration) for any services rendered.

  • We collect personal details such as name, contact information, and vehicle-related information to provide our services and ensure we meet your needs.
  • We will not share your personal data with third parties, except when required by law or to facilitate service delivery (e.g., to secure necessary parts).

  • Our mobile services are available Monday to Saturday, with operating hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday) and 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (Saturday).
  • Services on Sundays and public holidays are not available, unless agreed upon in advance.

  • Auto Solutionz reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page and will be effective immediately upon publication.
